On 29th March at 10.00 am, the online event for the presentation of the results of the AGEment project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union,was successfully held. This event was carried out by the Polytecnhic of Guarda and was attended by 32 participants belonging to the Casa de Repouso Passado Presente, Centro Social Paroquial Nossa Senhora da Conceição
e Residência Sénior Dona Ana.
The event began with a brief presentation of the AGEment project, the case studies developed, including videos of interviews on handicrafts and rites and traditions related to bread making. The mobile application, which collects the testimonies of the experiences related to the European Intangible Cultural Heritage of the four countries involved, was also presented, promoting the use of new technologies among the group of older adults. In addition, were several testimonies that we heard about traditions and immaterial cultural elements from different areas of the interior border. Despite the physical distance, the conversation was very rich!
